We present a bespoke dress, originally tailored over a decade ago, which has been artfully remodelled and refined at our Osaka atelier.

At the time of its creation, the design leaned towards the formal—featuring sleeves and a more classic, shorter silhouette.

A cherished piece kept close to the heart, even as occasions faded

As the years pass and both trends and lifestyles evolve, it is only natural that certain garments find themselves worn less frequently.

And yet, drawn by a deep affection for the fabric, our client kept this piece close, unable to part with it.

Reimagined into a fluid, summer-weight maxi silhouette

In response to this enduring attachment, we have reimagined the piece into an effortless design, perfect for summer outings and resort wear.

Fortuitously, a length of the original fabric remained in our atelier, allowing us to extend the dress to a sweeping maxi length. The entire silhouette has been meticulously reconstructed to offer a relaxed, fluid ease.

Heirloom garments, breathed with new life

With thoughtful alteration, a garment that has weathered the years can be breathed with new life, revealing an entirely fresh expression.
